Video: What Was Vanderbilt's Matthew Fisher-Davis Thinking? PDF Print E-mail
Thursday Northwestern, who made it first NCAA appearance, took on Vanderbilt. The two went back-and-forth the entire game with Vandy scoring to take a 66-65 lead with 18 seconds left. Inexplicably, Vandy's Matthew Fisher-Davis committed an intentional foul got send Northwestern's Bryant McIntosh to the line who sealed it for Northwestern.

I have seen big mistakes at the end of games, but this one takes the cake. Fisher-Davis hung 22 points on Northwestern in on 30 minutes of play. He'll be remembered for the silly foul at the end, however. It's not about whether or not you fall, but how you bounce back. Let's see if Fisher-Davis can put the SEC on notice when he comes back next year.
