MULLET ----> BIG BEN SUSPENDED SIX GAMES PDF Print E-mail

Hands to your own body
Ben Rothlisberger has been suspended six games by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for violation of the league's personal conduct policy.  Big Ben was recently accused of sexual assault by a 20 year old college student at a Georgia nightclub last month.  Though prosecutors decided not to charge Rothlisberger with a crime, Goodell felt the need to protect the integrity of the NFL.  Furthermore, Goodell may increase the six game suspension if new evidence of misbehavior emerges that violates the NFL's personal conduct policy.  These new allegations against Rothlisberger come on the heels of a woman accusing him of sexual assault in 2008 at a Lake Tahoe hotel-casino in 2008.  Rothlisberger denied the allegation and wasn't charged but is currently being sued by the lady in question.

The public gave Ben a "pass" for the first sexual assault charge.  After all, the only people in the hotel room that night were Ben and his accuser who (i) was an employee of the hotel-casino and (ii) claimed to be intimidated because Rothlisberger spent big dollars at the casino and we all know "the customer's always right".  After the charges were dropped you would think dude would have learned his lesson.  The second allegation of sexual assault represents a trend and signals that my man has a problem keeping his hands to his own body.  Adding insult to injury, Ben was injured in a near fatal motorcycle accident in 2006 which kept him out of the line up for several games.  Despite his Rookie of the year award and Super Bowl ring, his off-field activities definitely qualify him as a "mullett".
