SHOCK EXCHANGE HEATS UP BROWER |

Ohh you fancy huh . . ohh you fancy huh? It's summer in New York City and you know what that means . . . humidity, open fire hydrants to stay cool and outdoor basketball tournaments. You literally cannot pass a park in the NYC without seeing games in progress. Yesterday the Shock Exchange returned to Brower Park to pay a visit to Lennie and Slick, after a two year hiatus. We looked like a bigger, hungrier version of our former selves. You knew it was serious when Coach Baker came out in camouflage shorts, Shock Exchange Comes to Harlem Tee, throwback Pumas and his signature black socks . . . C'mon son you know that stuff doesn't match son . . . you look grimy son. We faced off against the Unique All-Stars out of Long Island. We displayed our signature man-to-man defense but it was a Mexican standoff in the first half. Both teams matched the other's athleticism and neither one could gain any momentum. In the second half the Shock Exchange turned up the heat, held a 6-8 point lead for most of the game and walked away with a double digit victory. Everybody contributed and it was a balanced attack on both ends. Abou lead us offensively, on the receiving end of dimes from DeSean, Nick and Tymeek. DeSean and Ralphie put on a defensive clinic, locking down their man and flying to the ball out in space. Meanwhile, Shumba, Abou, etc. were generally bodying everybody to own the glass and deter dribble drives.
