Seen my Y-chromosome?
By now I am sure everybody and their grandmother have weighed in on "Dunkgate" - Lebron and Nike's decision to hide the videotape featuring Jordan Crawford's dunk over Lebron.  I saw the tape a few days ago and still cannot figure out what the big deal is.  The hoopla made it seem like the dunk was Darryl Dawkinseque or something.  It appeared as if Jordan Crawford, who I understand is a sophomore at Xavier, simply beat his man off the dribble and looked to finish at the rim.  Lebron rotated over late to try to deny Crawford.  Crawford, who had elevated just before Lebron, flushed the ball through above Lebron's outstretched hands.  Getting dunked on in basketball or getting your bell rung in football is all part of the game.

The intrigue about sports is that it is all "unscripted drama".  If fans feel like the outcome of games are predetermined or that certain players are being protected, it leads to a visceral reaction.  Besides, of all the people Lebron has posterized over the years, I do not recall anyone who has not taken it like a man.  I have my own views on the situation but I canvassed the kids to get an unadulterated opinion.  After attempting to skirt the question for a few minutes, the kids finally admitted that they would not have wanted the tape to come out either.  However, in their words . . . " Lebron hiding the tape was like Melo running from Nate Robinson" during the Knicks/Nuggets brawl a few years back.  Here is a link to the video:  http://video.google.com/videosearch?hl=en&q=lebron+and+jordan+crawford&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=qmZwSonnG47aNuTI0OII&sa=X&oi=video_result_group&ct=title&resnum=4#
